Computers 4 Knowledge Needs Keyboards, Mice and Monitors!
Computers 4 Knowledge, a group organized by CSUB, needs usb keyboards and mice, and monitors. They are refurbishing slightly used CPUs from CSUB and placing them in satellite labs around town. The labs will be available free to students in strategic neighborhoods where residents have limited access to the digital highway. If you have slightly used or new usb keyboards and mice, or monitors, please contact Linda Fiddler at lindafiddler@hope4kern.org.
Read Across Bakersfield
We need new or slightly used books to give away to children at Read Across Bakersfield on March 1st and 2nd. You can drop off the books at the Bakersfield Elementary Teachers Association, 837 H Street, by February 28th between 8 AM and 5 PM.
